Siemens SITRANS LCS100 Compact Capacitance Point Level Switch: Stainless Steel Process Connection
Compact capacitance point level switch for level and material detection in tight spaces, interfaces, solids, liquids, slurries, and foam. Stainless steel process connection, thermostatic polyester enclosure. Available in 2-wire (8/16 or 4-20 mA), 4-wire relay or transistor, or 3/4-wire with IO-Link, PNP, NPN, Push/Pull versions. Short 3.6" insertion length. For media with minimum dielectric constant 1.5.
LCS100 is also available in compact plastic, fixed rod, and cable extension versions.
SITRANS LCS100 is a direct replacement for the Pointek CLS100 level switch.
Siemens SITRANS LCS100 is a compact capacitance switch for level detection in small spaces for conductive and non-conductive interfaces, solids, liquids, slurries and foam. Superior level detection performance due to the inverse frequency shift capacitance technology which is extremely sensitive to capacitance changes. Its short 3.6" insertion length and versatility in applications and in vessels or pipes makes it a good replacement for traditional capacitance sensors. Its fully potted design ensures reliable operation, even in vibrating environments, like agitated tanks up to 4g. When used with a SensGuard protection cover, the LCS100 is protected from shearing, impact and abrasion in tough primary processes.
The CLS100 capacitance switch comes standard with a two-wire mA and relay output, IO-link communications optional.
