SIMATIC Process Device Manager (PDM) is a specialized Windows software tool for configuration, parameter assignment, commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of intelligent process instruments, devices and automation components. With SIMATIC PDM, you can use one software program to work with more than 4,500 different field devices by 200 different manufacturers. It can be used to commission, program, diagnose, and service devices using a single program and a uniform user interface.

You can set, change, manage, simulate and check process device data as well as monitor selected process values, alarms and status signals of devices online, so you can significantly reduce commissioning and service times in your plant.
