Primary flow elements for use with liquids, gases, and steam. For nominal pipe sizes 2" or larger. Available in square edge, quarter circle/conical entrance, eccentric entrance, and segmental designs with raised face, flat face, or ring-type joint sealing faces. Stainless steel material standard, others available as needed.

Because of their easy installation and management, orifice plates are the most common primary flow elements installed with differential pressure flow meters. Typically used in power generation, oil production and refining, gas processing and transmission, chemical and petrochemical processing, and water treatement and distribution.

  • For clean, viscous, dirty, or corrosive liquids, clean or dirty gases, and steam
  • Available in stainless steel (standard) Hastelloy C276, Monel 400, duplex, or super duplex
  • Nominal sizes greater than 2" for square edge or quarter/circle, greater than 4" for eccentric or segmental orifice plates
  • Pressure ratings per customer requirements, limited by material and flange
  • Available with raised face, flat face, or ring-type joint sealing faces and drain or vent hole
