Sierra QuadraTherm 640i and 780i Thermal Mass Flowmeters

Sierra's QuadraTherm® 640i and 780i thermal mass flow meters provide precise mass flow rate, temperature, and pressure measurements in a single unit. Their accuracy rivals that of Coriolis devices at a fraction of the cost. QuadraTherm flowmeters are desgined for flow measurement of all inert gases and all non-condensing clean gases, flammable gases, including methane, propane, hydrogen, digester gas, natural gases, and corrosive gases compatible with 316L stainless steel. They are ideal for high-accuracy applications like custody transfer, wastewater treatment, hazardous areas, facilities management and general process control applications.

Unlike traditional two-sensor thermal flow meters, QuadraTherm comes with four sensors: three precision platinum temperature sensors and one patented DrySense™ mass velocity sensor. This design eliminates unwanted heat transfer components, such as stem conduction and sensor cross-talk, improving accuracy to +/-0.5% of reading. 

Using Sierra's Smart Interface Portal (SIP) software, you can access critical data and reconfigure the flow meter in the field without the need to return it to the factory.
