The clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement system combines the SITRANS FST030 transmitter with FSS200 sensors. It's easy to install without cutting into the pipe or stopping the process. Suitable for pipe sizes 0.5" to 394" with wall thickness range 0.025" to 3". Configurations for liquids, gas, and hydrocarbon applications.
SITRANS FS clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters provide highly accurate measurement while minimizing installation time and maintenance expense.
The FS230 sensors are mounted on the outside of the pipe without cutting into the pipe or shutting down the process for installation. The non-intrusive installation makes them the perfect choice for retrofit applications and applications where corrosive, toxic or high-pressure liquids and gases rule out the option of cutting the pipe.
The FS230 is suitable for a variety of liquid flow applications in water and wastewater, chemical, and power industries. They are also ideal for natural, specialty, and process gas applications, including check metering, lost and unaccounted for (LAUF) analysis, allocation measurement, flow survey verification, product well testing, underground storage applications, and gas-fired power stations. The optional hydrocarbon functions are ideal for applications carrying crude oil, refined petroleum or gas.
