The SITRANS FS220 is a basic clamp-on ultrasonic flow system consisting of an FST020 transmitter and FSS200 clamp-on sensors. For most clean liquid appilcations. Pipe sizes from 0.39" to 394" (10 mm to 10 m) with wall thickness to 1.34" (35mm).
The SITRANS FS220 is a basic clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter for basic liquid flow application requirements. Based on the same digitalized platform as the SITRANS FS230, this system provides the same accuracy and similar functions at a lower cost. The FS220 is ideal for water measurement and any application not requiring temperature or viscosity compensation. The FST020 transmitter delivers standard parameter measurements i.e. volume flow, flow speed or sound velocity by analog outputs and Modbus communication.
Easy installation without the need to stop the process or cut into the pipe. The maintenance is minimal as there are no moving parts, no contact with media, and the external sensors do not require periodic cleaning.
