Full Description

Switching Output NPN/PNP:
- NPN stands for Negative, Positive, Negative. An NPN output is commonly called a sinking output. When the sensor senses an object it will connect the output to the negative supply.
- PNP stands for Positive, Negative, Positive. A PNP output is commonly called a sourcing output. When it senses an object it will connect the output to the positive supply.
Installation Type Flush vs Non-Flush mount:
- Flush-mountable sensors can be fully integrated into the surrounding metal up to the uppermost sensor face.
- Non-flush sensors, on the other hand, require some free space around the sensing face. Generally, non-flush sensors protrude a little from the surface.
