Honeywell R78 Series Flame Amplifiers for RM7800 Burner Controls

Solid state flame signal amplifiers detect the presence of flame in response to a signal from a rectifying, ultraviolet, or infrared flame detector.

Key Specifications

  • Flame signal strength ranges from 0.0 to 5.0 VDC, with test jacks to measure amplifier flame signal voltage
  • Plug into RM7800 relay module through printed circuit board edge connector, keyed for proper orientation
  • Color-coded labels identify flame detection type.  Green=Rectification, Red=Infrared, Purple=Ultraviolet
  • Dynamic Ampli-Check circuitry tests the flame amplifier during burner operation.
  • Dynamic Self-Check circuitry tests electronic components in the flame detection system 10 to 12 times per minute.
