SIMATIC PDM (Process Device Manager) is a universal tool for configuration, parameter assignment commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance of intelligent process devices and automation components. With PDM, you can use a single interface to configure field devices from a number of different manufacturers. Process data can be easily set, changed, tested, managed and simulated. you can also use PDM to monitor process values, alarms and status signals of online devices.
