Precision Digital's PD644 Javelin D is an easy-to-use voltmeter with a built-in 4-20 mA isolated transmitter and RS-485 serial communication capability. It's ideal for speed measurement in variable frequency drive applications where a 0-90 VDC input displays as 0-1750 RPM. An optional Form C relays can be used for alarm indication or process control applications.
The Modbus® RTU serial communication upgrade lets the Javelin D operate as a slave in RS-485 multipoint data acquisition systems. Four front-panel buttons provide quick, simple setup and programming. There are no jumpers, and you'll never need to open the case for configuration. After you've set up one meter, you can clone configuration and transfer it to any other PD644 using the Copy function and PD MeterCopy.
