TSI Quest Edge 8 Intrinsically Safe Personal Noise Dosimeter

TSI Quest's Edge 8 noise dosimeter have intrincally safe certification for hazardous envrionments and measure real-time personal noise exposure levels up to 145 dB. Optional Bluetooth-enabled models let you monitor directly from an Android or IOS tablet or smartphone, using Bluetooth and the Edge dB mobile app, so you can track noise exposure and identify potential hearing loss threats without interrupting your employee's work.

The Edge 8 comes stadard with many functions that include Voice Notes, Audio Recording, Ceiling Threshold Monitoring, LED Dose Indicator, and Pause Study. Voice Notes to capture a verbal note about location, description, or noise event, which will display in the time-stamped data set for reference in later analysis. Audio Recording will automatically record time-stamped audio of a noise event above a configurable dB level for later review and analysis. Ceiling Threshold Monitoring counts the number of time that a noise level has exceeded a preset threshold and trigger time helping you make informed decisions on implementing engineering controls and hearing protection device changes. LED Dose Indicator flashes to easily identify who has reached their daily maximum noise dose exposure. Pause Study lets you pause data collection during breaks, location/shift changes, or off-site travel to give a more accurate representation of working environments.
