Managing Dust Exposure with Real-Time Monitoring

Recorded Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Lesman Instrument Company

Airborne dust particles can pose serious health risks in the workplace, especially when smaller particles penetrate deep into the lungs. Accurately understanding multi-size fraction dust exposure is essential for protecting workers and making informed exposure control decisions.

Dylan Staack of OHD to discusses how real-time dust monitoring can complement traditional sampling methods.

This webinar covers:

  •  Why dust size and concentration matter for worker health
  • How real-time monitoring compares to traditional gravimetric sampling methods
  • How real-time data can support smarter, faster exposure assessment decisions
  • When real-time monitoring can be used as a practical surrogate for material-specific sampling
  • Capabilities and limitations of real-time particle monitoring using the Sensidyne Dustlight
  • Q&A: Ask the expert

About the speaker: Dylan Staack is an industrial hygienist with years of experience in the industry as a consultant, instrumentation technical expert, and national sales manager.
