SITRANS LR550 80 GHz radar level transmitters with a polymeric horn antenna for continuous monitoring of liquids and solids. 394 ft (120 m) measuring range. The lightweight design is suitable for open air applications and inventory measurement of basic materials in silos and vessels, or river level monitoring.
The SITRANS LR500 series radar level transmitters feature an optional local user interface that simplifies setup and operation with an intuitive Quick Start Wizard and echo profile displays for diagnostics. The 80 GHz frequency generates a narrow, focused beam, enabling the use of a smaller antenna and reducing sensitivity to obstructions. The LR500 series transmitters measure low dielectric media with high accuracy and repeatability, offering a fast measurement response ideal for process control applications. These transmitters also come with SITRANS IQ Guard for real time monitoring of device health, status, diagnostics, monitoring, and verification, as well as improved batch quality and predictive maintenance.
The LR550 comes with a plastic horn antenna for solids and liquid applications. Available with mounting bracking for open air level monitoring.
