Electromagnetic flow sensor with fully-welded construction to fit tough flow applications and environments. Available in pipe diameters from 0.5" to 78" for media temperatures -40° to 212° F and operating pressures to 1450 PSI. Complete flowmeter includes locally- or remote-mounted MAG5000 or MAG6000 electronic flow transmitter/converter, ordered separately. Suitable for flow measurements in conductive fluids with a conductivity > 10uS/cm.

Siemens SITRANS FM MAG 3100 flow sensors are designed for ultimate flexibility, with the broadest range of sizes, electrode and liner material options, and the highest available operating pressure (1450 PSI max.). With your choice of ATEX, FM, CSA, custody transfer, and drinking water approvals, the MAG 3100 is suitable for most industrial applications.

The MAG3100 standard construction features carbon steel sensor housing and flanges, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide terminal box, and 304 stainless steel measuring pipe. Choose the liner and electrode materials most compatible with your process media, for optimal chemical resistance and long-life performance.

Working in harsh environments? The MAG3100 flow sensor (7ME6310) in sizes up to 12" when used with an integral MAG6000i transmitter is FM approved for use in Class I, Div 1 environments.

  • 0.2% ±1 mm/Sec Accuracy
  • Suitable for extreme operating conditions: operating pressures to 1450 PSI, and media temperatures from -40° to 212° F (-40° to 100° C). Call Lesman for a high-temp model for media temperatures to 356° F (180° C)
  • Liner materials available in Neoprene, EPDM, PTFE, PFA, Ebonite, Linatex
  • Electrodes available in 316 Stainless Steel, Hastelloy C, Platinum/Iridium, Titanium, Tantalum
  • Integral wiring junction box, optional epoxy fill for remote mount submersible service
  • NEMA 4X/6/IP67 fully-welded carbon steel sensor housing with corrosion-resistant epoxy coating; Stainless steel polished flanges optional
