The Jordan Valve Mark 508 is a low pressure back pressure regulator for gas media and tank blanketing applications. It can be used to vent gas from the tank to prevent the blanketing pressure from rising to a level that could damage the tank while maintaining a small, constant flow to keep the blanket fresh.
During filling, the Mark 508 opens to allow gas to escape as the vapor space in the tank grows smaller. It will also work well in any low back-pressure gas application.
