Submersible pressure transmitter for continuous hydrostatic level measurement of liquids, sludge, and slurries in tanks, containers, sumps, and reservoirs. Standard measuring ranges 0 to 20 PSI (0 to 46.2 Ft WC) with cables to 100 feet (30.5M). Extended measuring ranges up to 5000 PSI max and cables to 1500 feet. 4-20 mA output. 316 and 316L stainless steel body, 316 SS diaphragm seal, fluorelastomer seals, polyurethane or ETFE cable. For process temperatures 0° to 200° F (-18° to 93° C). Comes standard with cage, lighting and surge protection, CE approval.
Dwyer Mercoid's PBLT2 submersible level transmitter is designed for long-life, trouble-free service in harsh applications. The transmitter consists of a piezoresistive sensing element in a 316 SS housing with a non-clogging large diameter 316 SS diaphragm seal. The integral cage protects the unit from damage caused by floating solids in wastewater and slurry applications. The PBLT2 also features lightning and surge protection, eliminating both power supply surges and lightning ground strike transients.
Units come equipped with a 270-pound tensile strength shielded and vented cable. The ventilation tube in the cable automatically compensates for changes in atmospheric pressure above the tank. The vent is protected with a maintenance free filter, eliminating particulate or water droplets from entering the transducer.
Typical applications include wastewater, sludge pits, clarifiers, digesters, alum, oil, or chemical storage tanks, lime slurries, sumps, and reservoirs.
