DUNGS FRG Ratio and Zero Governor Gas/Air Pressure Regulator
The FRG series are spring-loaded gas pressure regulators. The ratio regulator/zero governor has an adjustible setpoint spting and nonadjustable counterspring. Available in 1/2" to 3" NPT sizes with maximum operating pressures to 7 PSI, CSA certified for 5 PSI.
The FRG/6 series is a spring-loaded device that functions either as a ratio regulator or a zero governor. As a ratio regulator, it keeps a constant gas/air ratio by modulating gas flow proportionally to air (or inert gas) flow. As a zero governor, it reduces the incoming gas pressure to (or slightly above/below) atmospheric pressure, often used in blower or induced-draft burner systems.
It's suitable for industrial and commercial heating applications, for use with dry natural gas, propane, butane, air, and inert gases.
- Adjustable set-point spring and non-adjustable counterspring provide stable output regulation
- Optional low-fire bypass (for sizes 1/2" to 2" NPT) to enable very low flow rates or enhanced turndown
- 1/4" NPT inlet and outlet test ports on each side enable easy verification of pressures
- Factory-installed vent limiter for safety (limits gas escape if diaphragm ruptures)
- Can be installed vertically (dome up) or horizontally
