Meriam 50MR2 Series ANSI Flanged Laminar Flow Element

Meriam's 50MR2 laminar flow element is specifically designed for gas flow applications that require ANSI flanged process connections.

Laminar flow elements can be used to calibrate turbine meters, variable area meters, flow regulators, mass flow meters, and thermal anemometers. They are most commonly used for gas flow measurement, but are also suited to leak detection and quantification, design and testing of discrete parts, automotive engine and emissions testing, and window and door leak testing.

Filtered inlet versions are available to help keep the LFE matrix clean and keep the calibration consistent, or to be used for intake measurement applications.

  • ±0.72% to ±0.86% accuracy; 0.1% repeatability
  • 16 ms response time
  • Available with inlet filter accessory
