K-Patents PR-23-GP Process Refractometer for Liquid Concentration and Brix Measurement

The K-Patents PR-23-GP is ideal for measuring liquid concentrations and Brix in sugar cane and beet sugar refining and milling processes. Its factory-calibrated, flange- or clamp-mounted sensor measures refractive index and temperature.

The PR-23-GP digital sensing technology measures dissolved sugar without influences from undissolved particles or crystals. Its measurement range covers 0-100% by weight.

  • Full measurement range: Refractive Index nD 1.3200 – 1.5300 (0-100 Brix)
  • Universal calibration of each sensor; sensors freely interchangeable
  • Dual connectivity: one transmitter can operate two sensors or second sensor can be easily integrated later
  • Process temperature range: -4° to 300°F (-20° to 150°C)
  • Configurable low and high concentration alarms
  • Ethernet connection and remote panel for datalogging and remote operation
