Bestobell Steam PT Float and Thermostatic Steam Traps

Bestobell PT float and thermostatic traps are designed for use in discharging air and condensate, while preventing steam from entering return piping on steam heating systems and steam process equipment. PT series traps can be piped in and out from either side, for optimal installation flexibility.

All working parts can be inspected, removed, repaired or replaced without disturbing the piping. A removable flush plug on the bottom of the trap permits easy cleaning.

Key Specifications

  • Responsive disc design reduces hinge action to evenly distribute motion for enhanced sensitivity to pressure and temperature conditions
  • Highly engineered positioning of flat valve responds rapidly to prevent steam from entering piping
  • Float-operated discharge valve opens wide to continuously drain condensate
