According to research analysts at Frost & Sullivan, the XYR5000 transmitters are "likely to play a major role in increasing the number, frequency, and type of automated measurements taken at various processing plants."

A complete XYR5000 system consists of:
(a) A site survey, to be performed prior to order completion to ensure proper wireless communications. (Price based on number of survey points.)
(b) One WBR wireless base radio for every 50 communicating field units.
(c) Wireless management toolkit software single user license, to run the RF server, configuration, and management tools.
(d) Any combination of the following: WN570 for acoustic signals, WI550 analog input field transmitter for 4-20 mA or 1-10V signals, WT530 temperature transmitter for thermocouples and PT100 RTDs, WG510 gauge pressure transmitters, or WA510 absolute pressure transmitters.

The wireless base radio unit combines an RF transceiver with the interface to your existing SCADA, DCS, or data acquisition device. Each WBR can support up to 50 communicating field units.
